Governance
Sheffield Canoe Club, established 1966, has been at the Forge Lane site in Oughtibridge since 1990. The club is a volunteer run community interest company operating with a small group of Directors pulled from the volunteers at the club.
The aims and objectives of the club is to promote and encourage newcomers, beginners or experienced paddlers in the safe and sustainable participation in paddlesport. Safeguarding, equality, inclusion and diversity shall be at the core of the club’s decisions, policies and procedures.
Whilst this is may seem the boring part the governance of the club is very important to the operation of the club and safety of our members. Below are links to our currnet policies and procedures.
